  I recently relocated to Miami Beach from Orlando Florida and knew I would soon need a good Orthopedic Surgeon fro my knee replacement which was long over due. Like most people in my position I have tried everything else other than surgery and have put it off as long as I could.
  Although I have not fully recovered from my full knee replacement surgery I feel compelled to share my experience so far with Dr. Umlas and his team. From the first visit to his office to my post operation and rehabilitation is has has been a warm and professional experience.His meticulous attention to detail and pursuit of excellence is very apparent. He is truly an expert with a smile.He truly cares about his patients and makes you feel part of the family right from the very start. My operation went off without a glitch and my recovery is ahead of schedule. I am extremely pleased with the results and feel that not only did I find a great surgeon but I also found a friend and someone I can trust. I highly recommend Dr. Umlas and his team at Mt Sinai Hospital Miami Beach.
