  Do not make passports at this location if you can help it. Jose which is one of the postal clerks and his manager Ebony Mckenzie were extremely rude and treated me with disrespect . I had not filled out the form prior to arriving and asked for help filling out the passport forms , instead of a courteous answer i got belittled for not understanding and asking for help how to fill out the forms. then when i asked to speak to his manager ( Ebony ) she gave me the same rude responses and chastised me for asking for help with the forms. Furthermore even though i had a few min. left to my appointment she insisted that they will not help or allow me to apply for my sons passport today since i had not filled out the forms myself prior and was 8 min late into my appointment. they said i should make another appointment for another day.
  when I explained that it took 40 min. to schedule this appointment on the phone , and I had to arrange my schedule with my wife and child to come to this appointment all she did was say that she was not the manager and the "manager " was in a back room in a meeting . then she weaseled herself into the back room to hide from me when she could not respond to me with a good reason for my request to be helped with the forms even though there was a few min left in my time slot.
  I spoke today to someone else in the neighborhood and they said they go to the Surfside- Bal Harbour postal branch for this reason of the similar nasty customer service when asking for help with the forms.
  I don't understand why this is something that can take place at all anywhere, especially at a Federal postal facility. Does anyone know if there is any consequences or accountability for federal employees with this performance? Is there any recourse for us when we get treated this way? If there is please post where I can start the process to expose these rude and unprofessional employees and seek recourse so that others don't have to deal with this garbage in the future.

  just a quick update and follow up , I was at this location today again and to be fair I was helped by a clerk named Patricia . she was most helpful in explaining how to fill out the passport forms and courteous in general. so to be fair it is not the entire post office staff collectively that are rude . just a few rotten apples in the barrel . so try to avoid the above mentioned clerks named i the beginning of the review .
